Testimonials

Testimonials

Our group LOVES The Rural Thimble as a scrapbooking retreat. It is truly the best place we stayed! It is very clean, small details have already been thought out for guests (from kitchen supplies to power cords in the main room), and it is located in a beautiful Amish Country. We love that you can unload with ease at the front door (no steps) and that there is at least one bedroom located on the man floor (for handicapped guests). Thanks for creating a special place for our annual fun!!

FAQs
Work-Area.jpg
  • I only have one or two people interested in a retreat. Can we join a group that's going to the Rural Thimble?
Currently The Rural Thimble does not host retreats where you join other groups. It is booked by individual groups who plan their own retreat.
  • Do we bring our own bed linens and towels?
No, linens and towels are provided for you.
  • Do we need to bring a crock pot?
We have several crock pots! See our Kitchen Amenities for more information. Other than the food, we’ve tried to provide for all your cooking needs!
  • Do you provide irons?
You will need to bring your own iron. We do provide ironing boards as well as several covers that we wash as needed. The boards get lots of use (imagine quilters at work almost 24/7!) We keep the covers as clean as possible, but you may bring your own cover if you wish; our boards are standard size.
  • Is there a grocery store or restaurant nearby
Yes, there are several restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. For additional information go to VisitCharmOhio.com
